Sang Spell Reading Log

Josh is the main character in Sang Spell. He hitchhikes to his aunt's house and along the way, he gets robbed and beaten by a man. When he wakes up Josh is in a small village called Canara and has no idea where he is or how he got there. While Josh is in Canara he shows how determined and strong/ brave he has become. For example, after Josh tells Prado how he broke his ribs that day before, the next statement Josh says is, "What i need is to go to an airport." This shows that even with broken ribs, Josh is very determined to get to his aunt's house no matter what. In addition, Josh's mom has recently died from a car accident. Imagine how hard that would be, living each day without a mom! But for Josh, he can do anything that's why he doesn't let that get to him on a deeper level. These are just a few reasons why Josh is determined and strong throughout Sang Spell.
